STANLEY MAX HOGSHEAD
Stanley M. Hogshead, banker of Indianola, was born at Hudson Sept. 9, 1919, the son of G. S. and Verna M. Hogshead. After attending high school and Iowa State Teachers college three years, he entered the United States Naval academy at Annapolis, Maryland., where he graduated with the degree of bachelor of science.
June 25, 1943, he married Sue Marie Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlo N. Moore. Mrs. Hogshead was born at Mt. Ayr Feb. 16, 1922. Mr. and Mrs. Hogshead have two children: Janis Joanne, born Nov. 3, 1945, and Jerry Neale, born Mrach 21, 1947.
Mr. Hogshead is executive vice-president of the Warren County Bank and Trust Company in Indianola. During World War II he served in the United States navy in the Pacific and Asiatic theater of war. He participated in five major naval engagements. In 1947 he was honorably discharged as a lieutenant.
Mr. Hogshead is a member of Rotary and the American Legion. Fraternally he is affiliated with the Masonic order, politically a Republican. Mr. and Mrs. Hogshead live at 408 North C Short street, Indianola.
