HAROLD B. DIVINE
Harold B. Divine, farmer and fur dealer who lives northwest of Indianola, was born in Polk county July 22, 1904. His father, Benjamin F. Divine, was born in Sandyville May 12, 1866, and his mother, the former Louise A. Freml, was born in Des Moines Sept. 10, 1874. Harold B. Divine graduated from East High School in Des Moines in 1921.
June 5, 1931, Harold B. Divine married Olive A. Foust, daughter of Ephriam and Addie (Bishop) Foust. Mrs. Divine was born at Indianola Oct. 20, 1906. Mr. and Mrs. Divine have five daughters: Patricia Kay (Blackford) born Feb. 1, 1932; Connie Jeanne, born Sept. 8, 1933; Doris Ann, born Nov. 28, 1934; Donna Dee, born Feb. 24, 1939; Judith Irene, born Sept. 8, 1943. The eldest daughter, Patricia, was elected and crowned queen of the Warren County Centennial in 1949.
Mr. Divine is a member of the Izaak Walton league and the Warren County Farm Bureau. His religious affiliation is with the Methodist Church. In his political convictions he is a Republican.
