ALBERT LEO DAVIDSAVER
The Rev. A. L. Davidsaver, pastor of St. Mary's church at Rosemount and St. Augustine's church at Milo, was born at Davenport, Iowa, July 4, 1911. He is the son of Albert H. and Regina M. (Elliott) Davidsaver. After attending college, the Rev. Mr. Davidsaver studied theology for four years.
During World War II Father David-saver served as chaplain in the United States army from Oct. 26, 1942, to May 6, 1946. He was in the Asiatic-Pacific theater of war from May 29, 1943, to September 5, 1944. He was with the 1st U. S. Cavalry from Dec. 1, 1942, to Aug. 15, 1944.
Father Davidsaver is a member of the American Legion post at Milo, and the Lions club at Indianola. He is at the present regimental chaplain of the 168th Infantry regiment of the 34th division of the Iowa National Guard.
