JAMES LLOYD CASE
Lloyd Case, who lives at 1007 North C street, Indianola, was born at Shannon City, Iowa, June 18, 1895. He is the son of William Franklin and Henrietta (Carr) Case. In 1906 his parents moved from Shannon City to a farm near Spencer, Iowa. While living at the latter place, he entered military service during World War I.
On March 26, 1927, he married Doris Catherine Bruns, daughter of H. U. and Bessie Bruns. Mrs. Case was born at Milford, Iowa, Jan. 20, 1900. Mr. and Mrs. Case have three children: Muriel Audrey, born Feb. 29, 1928; Carolyn Lucille, born June 14, 1930; Roger Loren, born April 23, 1937. Mr. Case lived at Milford, Iowa, from 1919 to 1921, when he and his family moved to Dysart, Iowa, where he farmed until 1944. He then moved to Indianola, where he purchased the International Harvester dealership, and remained in this business until Nov. 1, 1950.
Mr. and Mrs. Case are members of the Methodist Church, and fraternally Mr. Case is affiliated with the Masonic lodge. He is also a member of the American Legion. In politics he supports the Republican Party.
