Rock Bluff Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Wapello County. It lies southeast of Ottumwa. It was originally called Dragoon Cemeter because it is where the Dragoon soldiers who died in the winter of 1942*1843 were buried. It lies at the top of a bluff and is quite hard to get to. There has not been a burial there in about 20 years.
