I was just checking on Ottumwa locations too. I have questions on the death certificate. Eliza Jane died in Kansas City, Missouri. The undertaker was also in Kansas City, MO (I checked records). It seems off that she died on Feb 24, 1919, death certificate filed on Feb. 25th AND would be buried 220 miles away in Ottumwa, Iowa on the same day. In the middle of winter in Kansas or Iowa? Could they have even buried her in Feb. in 1919? Her informant is her son who lived in NJ at the time but has same address as mother. Maybe he came home to be with her but in Feb? Information on family is unknown. Would think the son would know. I think she is still in Kansas City, MO. Does she have a connection to Iowa?
