My grandfather was Walter Russell Davis, his father was Orrin Davis, his father was George Washington Davis, his father was Sylvester Davis. They settled in the Moravia IA area somewhere in the early 1860s. I would love to talk to anyone connected to the family lineage. From my grandmother, Madge Cloyed, her father was George Lawrence Cloyed and her mother, MaryEtta Jones. They all grew up in the Moravia/Blakesburg area. Looking and researching their family lineage. Thanks for any help rendered.
