Additional information on Francis Marion Cloyed - d August 25, 1949 at Golden City, MO. Married Anna Angel June 16, 1881 in Monroe Co., IA: Marriage Book 5, pg 464 license issued but not returned. Anna Angel was born in IA. They had one child Minnie May Cloyd b Jan 1887 in IA.

My interest is in Benjamin R Cloyd, 2nd child of Joshua Cloyed and Nancy Reed. More infor - Benamin R Cloyd b Nov 28, 1858, Ottumwa, Wapello Co., IA. Married Sarah A West about 1884. She was born in March 1865 in Wapello Co., IA and d April 3, 1928 at Blakesburg, IA. Their children were: Elmer A Cloyd, b Wapello Co., IA Dec 12, 1884; Gary Morin Cloyd, b July 1892, Rex Cloyd, b Nov 17, 1906; Clara Goldie Cloyd, b Nov 1889, md Elswick, Martha M Cloyd, b Aug 1897 also md Elswick; Hazel F Cloyd, b after 1900 md Nosley.

Elmer A Cloyd d Feb 4, 1960 in Ottumwa, Wapello Co., IA, bur. Jay Cemetery, Ottumwa. He md Olie Myrtle Collins, May 31, 1906 in Montezuma, Poweshiek Co., IA. She was b May 25, 1889 in Davis Co., IA and d July 28, 1959 in Ottumwa, Wapello Co., IA. Myrtle Cloyd was my great aunt.
