Mr. Hansen; Thanks for the reply. You certainly forwarded considerable information. I had a few bits and pieces that I stumbled onto about ten days ago, but you certainly added much. I had no idea that there were any family members of the Knecht's that had settled in Iowa. I found the rough draft of my grtgrandfathers obit, that listed Karolina Knecht Klodt, Ottumwa, Iowa, as his sister.Thanks a million. Leonard Stonestreet
