Bill,
That would make sense. My mom remembers her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Jess. Maybe she did remarry someone named Johnson. Thanks for the marriage date. I didn't have that.
I have the Keokuk Township book with the McIntire Cemetery in it. I have put several pieces together on the Hobbs that are listed. I only saw two Shelley's listed, Ebb and May. I also had William Thomas Hobbs in the Ottumwa cemetery. I got to visit his grave a year ago. I would appreciate any help you can give me on Ruth.
