I am looking for information on Ruth Hobbs Johnson. Born May 02, 1885 in Bloomfield Iowa
She was the sister of William Jesse Hobbs & Joseph Edward Hobbs.
Her father was William T. Hobbs and her mother was
Martha Jane Wheaton Hobbs.
Ruth had a twin sister maned Sarah who died 13 days after their birth.
I have William Jesse's obit saying she lived in Ottumwa Iowa at the time of his death in February 1950.
I was under the impression she was married to someone named Jess Shelby but this obit says her last name was Johnson. I would like to know when and where she passed and where she was buried. Any family members who have information on her I would love to share what I have on the rest of the family. I also would be interested in photo's.
My mother is 80 years old and remembers Ruth fondly.
