The 1900 Federal census for Monroe county shows the following for Pleasant township:

Name/Relation/Date of Birth/Birth Place
Jordan, James T. Sr/Head/Feb. 1848/Illinois
Jordan, Sarah A./Wife/Aug. 1860/Iowa
Jordan, Margaret S./Dau/Mar. 1879/Iowa
Jordan, John W./Son/Oct. 1887/Iowa
Jordan, Minnie M./Dau/Sep. 1890/Iowa
Jordan, James T./Son/Mar. 1893/Iowa
Jordan, Fred E./Son/Aug. 1896/Iowa
Jordan, Alvin/Son/Feb. 1897/Iowa
Jordan, John W./Brother/May 1844/Illinois
Jordan, Orville(?)/Brother/May 1842/Illinois

There must be some explanation about the birth dates for Fred and Alvin - they don't make any sense. Good Luck.
