A check of my marriage records indicate that:

Alva Jordan married Helena G. Larson on 14 Feb 1923 in Wapello County.

James Jordan married Sarah A. Pitcher on 24 Aug 1877 in Monroe County.

As usual when working with someone who has an Eddyville address, you will have to check 3 counties - Wapello, Monroe, and Mahaska - since Eddyville addresses are in all three counties and people had a tendency to use the counties interchangably.
