parents of Mable Claire Hooyer are listed on her marriage license as Louis Hooyer and Gertrude Reno. They are buried in Ottumwa Cemetery. Gertrude Hooyer b. 14 Aug 1850 and died 18 Jan. 1924. Louis Cashmere Hooyer b. 4 Feb 1850 died 31 Oct 1929. Also buried in plot are brother, Carl W. Hooyer 75 years old and died 12 Feb 1958; and Mae Olive Hooyer b. 30 Oct 1885 and died 31 Oct 1907. Also buried in Ott Cem is a sister, Mrs. Ernestine Ball b. March 17 1872 in Oskaloosa and died 14 June 1949 also a sister, Mrs. Robert Dunavan Alameda CA. listed in Ernestines obit. No marriage license in Wapello or Mahaska co. for parents.
