Geo. H. Myers

I am planning to travel to Ottumwa, Floris, Bloomfield, etc. the week of 10/14 in search of information about my GGGranfather George H. Myers who killed himself in 1892 with a razor. (I emphasize that because another Geo. Myers shot himself about the same time according to the Ottumwa Courier articles I have)He was married to Sarah Jones in Davis Co. in 1874 and I have records of their children's births, the Inventory of Geo's estate, etc. What I haven't found is the next link back to his Father who I think was Henry who married Sarah Newman in IN in 1845.

I'd like to start in Ottumwa on Tues Oct 15 and work my way through Floris (where's he's buried) and to Bloomfield or wherever ---

Would anyone please tell me where in Ottumwa I'd be most likely to find death or other records that old and/or obituaries from that era.
