It is likely that your Angeline may have been married (maybe multiple times) before she married William Hobbs. The marriage records do give her name as Dunlap but that isn't necessarily her birth surname. I checked the marriage CD for any Angeline who whould have married a Tucker, Dunlap, or Sloan and didn't find anything. However, that doesn't mean much. The CD does not cover all Iowa counties and there is no proof that the marriage (Sloan, Tucker, Dunlap,) ever occurred in Iowa. You must remember that birth and marriage records in Iowa were hit and miss before 1880.

I would try to obtain a copy of the Hobbs/Dunlap marriage certificate and see what that tells you. Do you have a date of death for Angeline? Her obituary might provide additional information.
