Mrs. Charles Sinnard
Mrs. Virginia F. Sinnard 75, of Grand Island, Neb. died Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Hospital.Mr. and Mrs. Sinnard had been in Ottumwa for a week visiting a son and a daughter.
She was born Aug. 16, 1885 in Jonesville, Va; the daughter of Henry and Mary Ellen Givens Taylor, and had lived in Grand Island for 40 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazerene there. Her marriage to Charles M. Sinnard took place Dec. 17, 1902, at Plattsmouth, Neb. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons W.H. Sinnard and O.H. Sinnard; both of Grand Island, and William C. Sinnard of Ottumwa; three daughters; Mrs. Zella Beard of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Dorothy Lind of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Esther Partrick of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers; Wesley Taylor of Plattsmouth, Neb; and Floyd Taylor of Chicago
and two sisters; Mrs. Sarah Fleishman of of Manley, Neb, and Mrs. Mae Bailey of Lincoln, Neb.She was preceded in death by a daughter who died in infancy, two brothers and a sister.
The casket was removed this morning from the Johnson Funeral Chapel to the Apfel- Butler Funeral Home in Grand Island where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Marvin Grooms of the Grand Island Church of the Nazarene Church will officiate. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery at Grand Island.
