Beverly M. Wallis, 68, of Des Moines, formerly of Eldon, died at 6:30 p.m. September 4, 2012 at Taylor House in Des Moines.
Beverly was born May 15, 1944 in Ottumwa. She worked for 32 years for Northwestern Bell and drove a school bus for the Saydel and Ankeny school districts.
Surviving are her husband, Bert; a daughter, Beth Leanne (Robert) Longen; three grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Lynn.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.
