Mrs. G.W. Davidson Dies; Funeral Today
Mrs. Minnie Davidson, wife of George W. Davidson, president of the Peoples Building & Savings association, died at 5 p.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph hospital. The home is at 117 North Marion street. Mrs. Davidson was born October 5, 1870, at Eddyville, the daughter of Justin and Phillip Hargesheimer. She was a member of the First Methodist church the T.T. club and was a charter member of the K.W.E.O. On June 6 of this year Mr. and Mrs. Davidson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Surviving in addition, are one daughter, Mrs. Fred D. Wilson, Fort Wayne, Indiana two granddaughters, Betty Lee and Mrs. Louise Wilson of Fort Wayne: four sisters Mrs. Eustina Oldham and Mrs. Carrier Koehler of Eddyville, and Mrs. Mary Litchenheld and Mrs. Margaret Dengledine of Oskaloosa; and one brother, Philip Hargesheimer of Eddyville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. W.R. Keesey, D.D. Interment was in Highland cemetery at Eddyville.
