Clyde Wilson of Sarasota, Florida, died at Rochester, Minnesota, late last night, according to word received here by his mother, Mrs. A.D. Wilson, 2002 West Second street. Mr. Wilson was born in Wapello county July 22, 1895, the son of Albert D. and Amy F. Wilson, and resided in Ottumwa unitl 1927 when he moved to Des Moines later establishing residence in Sarasota, Florida. He was a member of the First Christian church of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Florence Hendrickson in 1931 and by his father, the late Albert D. Wilson in 1942. He is survived by his widow, May Wilson; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Todd of Detroit, Michigan and Marjorie Wilson of Des Moines; his mother; two sisters; Mrs. Harriet Wilkinson and Mrs. Edith Hoskinson both of Ottumwa; four brothers, Albert H. of Ottumwa, Fred D. of Aurora, Illinois, Horace R. of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Raymond P. of Yakima, Washington. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
Funeral services for Clyde Wilson of Sarasota, Florida who died Monday evening at Rochester, Minnesota, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Harold Roberts of the First Christian church. Burial will be made in Ottumwa cemetery. The body arrived here at 11:55 this morning and was taken to the funeral chapel.
