Funeral services of Mrs. Gladys Visser, 48, wife of Earl Visser who died at the East Oakland , California, hospital August 19, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Harold Day of Floris. Burial will be in Floris cemetery. The daughter of George W. and Anna W. Chambers, she was born in Mahaska county December 10, 1895, but spent most of her life in the Ottumwa and Floris areas. She was a member of Wesley Methodist church here. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by four sisters: Miss Blanche Chambers and Mrs. Jeanette McGrath, both of Ottumwa route 6, Mrs. May Fisher, Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Frances Daggett, Ottumwa and two brothers, Walter Chambers, Oskaloosa and George Chambers, Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by an infant son, a brother and sister.
