Henry A. Berrier, Sr. 87, of 205 North James street, died at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wapello county hospital. He was born March 16, 1857 in Putman county, Missouri, the son of Phillip and Sarah Berrier and had lived in Wapello county for the past 26 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Berrier, a son Henry Berrier, and two daughters Mrs. Fannie Harris of Cincinnati and Mrs. Anna Berrier of Long Beach, California. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and one sister. Mrs. Julia Webb of Ottumwa. Two sons and two daughters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. E.L. Frost, of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Cincinnati.
