Mrs. Ary Alspaugh, 79, of 602 East Morris street, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday. Born June 17, 1865, at Blakesburg, the daughter of William and Rhoda Hunt, she had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 50 years. Preceding her in death were her husband, William and two daughters, Mrs. Isabel Crow and Mrs. Minnie Harton. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Bertha Harton of Dubois, Wyoming, and three grandchildren, Daniel James, Ottumwa: Mrs. Glen Hawkins, Ottumwa and Mrs. William Meckem of Dubois, Wyoming. Four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. Leo Simmons of Bloomfield. Burial will be made in Shaul cemetery.
