Mrs. Nellie Erickson, 53, wife of Ernest Erickson of 905 East Main street, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Ottumwa hospital. The daughter of Alfred and Susan Coffelt, she was born at Hastings November 13, 1890. She was a resident of Ottumwa the past 10 years and was a member of the Christian church and the S.B.A. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter and son in law. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gatton of What Cheer; two grandchildren Kenneth and Keith Gatton of What Cheer; a sister, Mrs. Ann Bell Noyes of Sidney, Nebraska, and four brothers, Ralph Coffelt and Lovell Coffelt, both of Chicago, George Coffelt, Sioux City, and John Leonard Coffelt, Council Bluffs.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
