F.G. (Bud) Moore, 79, of 925 South Weller street, died at 2:59 a.m. today at the St. Joseph’s hospital following a week’s illness. He has resided in Ottumwa for the past two years, having spent the rest of his life on a farm in Davis county. Mr. Moore was a member of the Christian church of Bunch. He was married, February 11, 1891 to Mary Elizabeth Morris, who survives him. Also surviving are six sons, Clarence, Lawrence, Virgil and Paul all of Ottumwa, Lester of Rockford, Illinois, and Ross of Bloomfield, and two daughters, Mrs. Opal Paris and Mrs. Pearl J. Miller, both of Ottumwa. Sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as two sisters, Mrs. W.M. Hill of Moulton and a twin sister, Mrs. Adeline Burton of Bloomfield, also survive. Due to the illness of Mrs. Moore the funeral services will be held at the home, 925 South Weller street, at 1:30 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. Everett Stufflebeam, a lifetime friend of Mr. Moore. Short services will also be held at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Bloomfield where burial will be made. The body will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until Sunday when it will be taken to the home.
