George Ellsworth Beadle, 60, died at 4:12 a.m. today at his home, 217 Palmetto street. He was born in September 1883, at Albia, the son of George and Mary Ramsey. He is survived by one son, Wilbur Beadle in the Navy, and by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Morrow of Ottumwa and Mrs. Maude Vreeland of Milwaukee. Burial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Ottumwa cemetery, in charge of the Rev. A. D. McClure. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home.
