Mrs. Nancy Jane Arnold, 84, a native of Wapello county died at 12:20 p.m. today at Ottumwa hospital, where she had been a medical patient since last November. She was born in this county in 1860, the daughter of Prior and Mary Reveal Wilson. She was the widow of Frank Arnold. For the past 40 years Mrs. Arnold had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. M.C. Burns in Kansas City, Missouri, but returned here last August after the death of Mrs. Burns. Survivors include a brother, Emra Wilson, Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Allan F. Burns, Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. E. L. Burns, New Orleans, Louisiana, Robert Burns, Kansas City, and Howard C. Burns, Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren and servers nieces and nephews in Ottumwa. The body was removed to the Lester Jay funeral home pending arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Arnold, who died at the Ottumwa hospital where she had been a medical patient since last November, at noon Wednesday, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lester Jay funeral home. The Rev. Harold Roberts, pastor of the First Christian church, will be in charge. Burial will be at Kirkville.
