Mrs. Della Wilson, 78, wife of William Wilson, 320 West Wilson street, died at her home at 4:45 a.m. today. A resident of Ottumwa for the past 40 years she was the daughter of Byron and Elizabeth Brier and was born December 24, 1865 in Indiana. She was married to William Wilson, May 29, 1884, in Ottumwa and is survived by her husband. Other survivors are two sons, Versal and Vern Wilson, both of Ottumwa, 12 grandchildren nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Nathaniel Brier of Ottumwa. Preceding her in death were one daughter, Icel and one sister, Minnie. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Edward D. Byrd, pastor of the East End Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
