Mrs. Freida M. Noe, 48, widow of J.W. Noe, who died February 16, 1944, died Saturday in the St. Joseph hospital. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Herod, she was born in Bloomfield January 21, 1896. She married Mr. Noe March 12, 1922. Survivors are her daughter, Miss Rachel Marie Noe; her mother, her sister, Mrs. Bert Grinstead and a brother, Harry P. Herod all of Ottumwa. She is also survived by a stepson, T.C. Noe of Gallup, New Mexico, and stepdaughter, Mrs. Hazel Boyer, Des Moines. A son John William, and her father also preceded her in death. Mrs. Noe was a member of the Bloomfield Baptist church. The funeral will be at 4p.m. Tuesday in Johnson’s chapel conducted by the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glen Wilson, Floyd Shelton, Earl Marlin, Lester Simmons, Raymond McKim and Harry Patrick.
