Miss Margaret Troy, 60, of 518 Glenwood avenue died at 1 p.m. Sunday at the St. Joseph hospital. She had never fully recovered form an accident of about nine months ago when she fell and broker her hip. Miss Troy was manager of the hat department at the Louise Frock Shop, coming to Ottumwa about 10 years ago. She as born July 4, 1883, is St. Clair county, Michigan. She is survived by the following sisters: Mrs. John Marx, Mrs. Bernard Butlet, Mrs. John B. Scholler, all of Port Huron, Michigan, and Mrs. Theodore Schlinkert and Mrs. Phillip O’Brien both of Detroit, and by one brother, Walter Troy of St. Clair, Michigan. Her parents and one brother preceded her in death. The body will leave early Tuesday for Port Huron where a requiem high mass will be celebrated by her nephew and burial will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery. Friends will be at 8 o’clock this evening at the Vaughan funeral chapel to recite the rosary.
