Mrs. Icel Burkhart, 46, died Tuesday evening at her home in Los Angeles. She was born in Wapello county, the daughter of W.W. and Veda Jackson. Survivors are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. John Torrence, Blakesburg: Mrs. Ralph Williams and Mrs. Glen Laughlin, Ottumwa; Mrs. Bruce Bradfield, Fairfield, Russell Jackson, Ottumwa; Lester with the Army, and Bryan in Los Angeles. The body is being returned to Ottumwa, arriving Sunday. Funeral plans have not been completed. Funeral services for Mrs. Icel Burkhart, who died Tuesday in Los Angeles, will be held at 2 o’clock Monday at the Lester Jay funeral home, Interment will be in the Blakesburg cemetery. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Sunday.
