Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Emma Hetson a former Ottumwan who died Wednesday in Chicago. The body will arrive in Ottumwa late Friday afternoon and will be taken to the Johnson funeral chapel. No funeral arrangement has yet been made. The funeral of Mrs. Emma Hetson, formerly of 216 South Madison avenue, who died Wednesday at the home of her niece, Mrs. Hulda E. Kilstrom, in Berwyn, Illinois, will be held at Johnson’s chapel at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen of the First Lutheran church will be in charge, and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Mrs. Hetson left Ottumwa October 20, 1943 to make her home with Mrs. Kilstrom. She had been a resident here in Agency since 1882, excepting a year or two. Mrs. Hetson was a member of the First Lutheran church of Ottumwa. Her husband John Hetson precede her in death.
