Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ulin, 74, died at her home at Hedrick at 1:15 a.m. today after being in failing health for several years. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Ann Young and was born September 5, 1869, near Hayesville. She is survived by three children, Charles and Otto of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Mrs. Nettie Philpott of Hedrick; 10 grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers. Her husband John Ulin died May 9, 1940. The body is at the Community funeral parlors at Ottumwa.
