Native Of County Dies At Age Of 91
Mrs. Sarah Ellen Heller, 91, died this morning at 1:40 at her home a few miles northeast of Ottumwa. She was born March 26, 1853, the daughter of George and Jane Springer, and lived her entire life in Wapello county where she was born. She was married March 30, 1872 to Charles Heller, who preceded her in death June 24, 1919. Her married life was spent on the same farm where she died. Three sons preceded her in death, and she is survived by two sons and six daughters. The body was removed to the Community funeral home pending arrangements. Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ellen Heller, who died at her home northeast of Ottumwa Wednesday morning, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Community funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be made in Round Point cemetery near Agency.
