Mrs. Fannie J. Holloway, wife of P.R. Holloway, died at 1:05 p.m. today at her home, 1135 North Court street. She had been in ill health for the past year and her condition had been considered grave for the last six weeks. Mrs. Holloway was born and reared in Ohio and came to Ottumwa after her marriage to Mr. Holloway in 1898. She had lived here since that time. She is survived by her husband and by the following three daughters; Miss Birdie Holloway, Greensboro, North Carolina; Miss Gladys Hope Holloway, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Miss Leila Frances Holloway, Oberlin, Ohio. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. S.L. Vest of Ottumwa and Mrs. James Ball Naylor of Malta, Ohio. Funeral services for Mrs. P.R. Holloway will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lester Jay funeral home conducted by the Rev. W.R. Keesey D.D. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
