J.W. Noe, 69, Bloomfield route 1, died at 5:10 a.m. today in the St. Joseph hospital. He was born in Davis county, November 3, 1874, the son of Jeff and Louisa Noe. He had made his home in Davis county for the last seven years. He married Miss Ada L. Adams. Two of their three children survive. The are Mrs. Hazel Boyer, Des Moines, and Clark Noe, Gallup, New Mexico. Mr. Noe’s second marriage was to Miss Freida Herod of Bloomfield. Their daughter, Rachel Marie, at home, survives. Their son Billy preceded his father in death. A brother Glen also is dead. Mrs. Noe, two sisters and four brothers survive. The latter are Bertha Kosclelski of Omaha, and Mrs. Katie Colbert, San Diego, California, Lee Noe, Mason City; Elmer, Ottumwa, Phinis Northwood, and Henry, Middletown. Funeral services for J.W. Noe of Bloomfield route 1, who died Wednesday morning at the St. Joseph hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. E. L. Frost will have charge of the services and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
