Death Comes To Mrs. S.A. Kitterman
Mrs. Ada Pearl Kitterman, 63, wife of S.A. Kitterman, died at 6:30 a.m. today at their home on Elmdale avenue. She was a member of P.E.O. chapter H.R. Ottumwa chapter No. 112 Order of the Eastern Star and of the Social Order of Beauceant. Mr. and Mrs. Kitterman for many years were steward and matron, respectively, of the Wapello county farm and home. Mrs. Kitterman is survived by her husband and two sons, Maurice Kitterman and Robert Kitterman, both of Ottumwa. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Berry of Los Angeles and Mrs. Roy Franklin of Eldon, and one brother, James Wilson of Eldon and by four half brothers John Burr, Ben and Ted Hughes, all of Seward, Nebraska. No funeral arrangements have been made.
Funeral services for Mrs. S.A. Kitterman who died Tuesday morning at her home on Elmdale avenue, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. Lloyd C. Snyder. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The pallbearers will be Ernest Leatherby, Walter Koontz, William Robertson, Clarence Boyd, Quincey Hicks and F.L. Redmon. The body will be at her home on Elmdale avenue until 10 a.m. Thursday when it will be taken to the funeral home.
