Hilles M. Taylor, 74, a resident of Ottumwa for the past 13 years, died at his home, 917 West Main at 12:10 p.m. Saturday. He was the son of John and Drusilla Taylor and was born in Van Buren county, Iowa July 26, 1869. He was a member of the Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Ethel F. Taylor; two sons, Holles Taylor, Chicago and Robert Taylor a cook second class in the Navy stationed at Corpus Christi, Texas, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel at 1 p. m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in the Eldon cemetery
