Mrs. Maggie Jones, 1147 North Jefferson street, died at 9:50 a.m. today shortly after being admitted to the Ottumwa hospital. She was born near Blakesburg, March 19, 1879, the daughter of A.V. Tinsley and Julia Tinsley. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Ottumwa chapter No. 112. Order of the Easter Star, Social Order of the Beauceant and the Blakesburg Methodist church. Surviving are her husband, Emmett T. Jones a sister, Mrs. Clark Peck of Knoxville, and several nieces and nephews. The body will remain at the Lester Jay funeral home until funeral arrangements have been completed.
Funeral services for Mrs. Emmett T. Jones, who died Wednesday morning, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Lester Jay funeral home. The Rev. R.C. Keagy, pastor of the Wesley Methodist church, will be in charge of the services and the Eastern Star service will also be given. Burial will be in the Blakesburg cemetery.
