Mrs. Lucinda Young, 83, wife of Frank Young, 503 North Ferry street, died a 6 p.m. Friday. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hendren, and was born in Schuyler county, Missouri. Most of her life had been spent in the Ottumwa community. Survivors are her husband, two sisters; Mrs. Mary Davis, Portland, Oregon, and Mrs. Rena Wall, Minneapolis, several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson’s funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. A.D. McClure, with burial in Ottumwa cemetery.
