Riley Orman, 65, a former Ottumwan died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at his home in Des Moines. He was born November 25, 1878 in Wapello County and had lived in Des Moines for the past 15 years. He was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Orman and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Orman, and the following children; Clarence Orman. Melrose Park, Illinois, Morris Orman and Dwight Orman, both is the Navy; Mrs. Garnette Darr and Miss Yvonne Orman, both of Des Moines. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Orman of Blakesburg route 1 and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Clara Sample, Blakesburg route 1, Mrs. Mae Landen, Jerry Orman, Guy Orman, Ralph Orman and Jacob Orman all of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother and by an infant, Geneva L. The body will be brought to the Johnson funeral chapel where it will remain pending the funeral arrangements. Funeral services for Riley Orman, former Ottumwan who died Wednesday at his home in Des Moines will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by Apostle D.T. Williams of Independence, Missouri. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The casket is scheduled to arrive here Saturday morning and will be taken to the funeral chapel . Pallbearers will be John J. Orman, Clarence Orman, Charles Orman, Charles H. Orman, Thomas Orman and Thomas Eyre.
