Imes E. Taylor, 24, died suddenly at noon Saturday in Kankakee, Illinois where he was a student at Olivet Nazarene college. He was the son of Mrs. Alta Taylor of 231 South Moore street, and was a licensed minister in the Nazarene church and a member of the First Nazarene church of Ottumwa. He was born April 13, 1919 in Ottumwa the son of John and Alta Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Taylor his mother and the following sisters and brother; Mrs. Srena Archer, San Francisco; Mrs. Von Rea Satter, Tacoma Park, Maryland; Bret Taylor, Ottumwa and Ancil Taylor with the Army overseas.
Funeral services for Imes E. Taylor, who died Saturday in Kankakee, Illinois, will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Nazarene church here in charge of the Rev. M.C. Campbell, assisted by the Rev. C.W. Grim. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be the Rev. Willmer Leeds, the Rev. C.A. Albin, the Rev. Martin Leah, the Rev. A.C. Morgan, the Rev. Elmer Bankson, and the Rev. Louie Watters. The body will be at the Lester Jay funeral home until time for the services
