Harry Lee, 57, died at his home 332 ½ East Second street, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. He was the son of Augustus and Elcena Lee, and was born at Osaka, Kansas, November 29, 1886. He had been a resident of Ottumwa the past 26 years, was a member of the Christian church and of the Brotherhood Boilermakers. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; a son Thane M. Lee, coxswain in the coast guard, stationed at St. Louis; a daughter Mrs. Paul Richmond, Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Janice Carol Lee; a brother, Harley Lee, Van Wert and two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Varley, Coyne, and Mrs. A.B. Coy, Farragut. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. L.E. Welshons. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be John McCaffery, Glen McAllister, Claude Millhouse, Walter Smith, Thomas Gowdy and Red Gowdy.
