Mrs. Belle Abbott, 56, who lived on Newton street, Ottumwa route 5, died at her home at 11:30 p.m. Friday. She was the daughter of Russell and Mary McNutt and was born in Illinois, March 1, 1887. She had bee a resident of Ottumwa for the past 40 years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Murphy, Mrs. Bessie Hunt, Mrs. Lela Heckart and Mrs. Ardyth Stufflebeam, all of Ottumwa; 13 grandchildren, two brothers. Will McNutt, Sherman, Texas and Arthur McNutt, Concordia, Kansas and a sister, Mrs. Orpha Michaels San Pedro, California. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. W.C. Grim, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
Funeral services for Mrs. Belle Abbott, wife of Hugh Abbott of Newton, street, who died Friday at her home, were held at 3 p.m. today at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.G. Grim of the First Church of the Nazarene. Burial was made in Ottumwa cemetery.
