Mrs. Mary Taylor, 82, who lived at 355 North Marion street, died at 4 p.m. today at the Wapello county hospital. She was born February 28, 1861, in Missouri and had lived in Iowa for the past 67 years. She had been ill for about two months. She was a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. church. She is survived by the following nephews and nieces. Mrs. Daisy Dundee, Spokane, Washington, Helen Nelson, El Centro, California; the Rev Wendell Johnson, Mounds, Illinois and D.W. Lambert, Chicago. The body will be at the Lester Jay funeral home until funeral arrangements are completed. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Taylor, who died Tuesday at the Wapello county hospital will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Re. H.J. Parker, pastor of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. church, assisted by the Rev. H.C. Boyd of Des Moines. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
