Mrs. Annice Rush, 60, resident of Ottumwa, for 36, years, died at 4:40 a.m. today at the Mt. Pleasant state hospital. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Beebe and was born in Monroe county October 6, 1882. She was a member of the Davis Street Christian church. Survivors include three sons, Everett Rush, Ray Rush and Bernie Rush, all of Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs. Laura Major and Mrs. Harry Sell, both of Ottumwa; three stepchildren Guy Rush, and Mrs. Annabelle Wheeler, both of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Lacey Goodwin, Chillicothe; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dessa Nelson and Mrs. Corda McKim, both of Albia, and a brother Leslie Beebe, Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Rush in 1935. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. E.L. Frost of the Davis Street Christian church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
