Mrs. Hessie Harbur, 31, of 333 ½ Richmond avenue, died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday in an ambulance while enroute to Iowa City. Her physician had ordered her removal to the University hospital at Iowa City, and the ambulance had just reached Mt. Pleasant when she is said to have died from a heart attack. She is survived by her husband, Ellis Harbur, two sons and one daughter, Barbara, Otho, and Phillip Harbur, all at home. She is also survived her father, Henry Akins of Kirkville, Missouri, and the following five sisters; Mrs. Ruth Akins, Mrs. Maudie Candell and Mrs. Sylvia Davis, all of Rock Island; Mrs. Rachell Leckbee, Baring, Missouri, and Mrs. Annie Kingsley, Novelty, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Vaughan funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. C.R. Reed. Burial will be at Memphis, Missouri.
