Mrs. Mary Larkin, 67, wife of Thomas Larkin, Ottumwa route 4, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at her home. She had been a resident of this area for 60 years. She was born November 2, 1875 at Keokuk and moved to Ottumwa, when seven years old. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary McCright and Mrs. Ruth Anderson, both of Ottumwa, three sons, Thomas Jr., John and Joseph all of Ottumwa; a sister Mrs. Agnes Glentzer, Pueblo, Colorado, two brothers, Maurice and Edward Moriarty, both of Ottumwa and four grandchildren, a son and a daughter preceded her in death. The funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the home and at 9 o’clock at St. Patrick’s church with the Rev. T.C. Donohoe celebrating a requiem high mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Members of St. Patrick’s parish will meet at the Larkin home at 8 o’clock tonight recite the rosary. The body will be taken to the home from the Vaughan funeral chapel this afternoon.
