Charles L. Warrington, 65, of 411 Appanoose street, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday at the home of his daughter Mrs. C.L. Ward, of 409 Appanoose street. A resident of Ottumwa the past 41 years, he was born July 19, 1878 in Davis, County, the son of John Albert and Elizabeth Ann Warrington. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertie Warrington and two daughters; Mrs. Ward of Ottumwa and Mrs. Lillian Ball of New London. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Mrs. Melvin Swink of Burlington, and Sgt. S Arthur Abington, in the Army. The following brothers and one sister also survive; Mrs. Scott Baker, Monrovia, California; Ire Warrington, Pueblo, Colorado; James Warrington, Nixa, Missouri and Roy Warrington, Denver. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Charles L. Warrington 411 Appanoose street, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.L. Ward of 409 Appanoose street Thursday at 12:10 p.m. will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel Monday at the 1:30. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. The Rev. Harold Roberts will officiate.
