Funeral services for Marlin J. Lewis former Ottumwan who was killed at Victoria, Texas, last Tuesday will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel here at 3 p.m. Friday in charge of the Rev. John Hastie. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Lewis’ body will arrive Friday at 12:08 a.m. and will be taken to the residence of C.R. Brown, 222 Paris street, at 9 a.m. It will be returned to the Johnson chapel at 1 p.m. for the service. Lewis was born in Ottumwa May 28, 1911, but for the last 16 years had made his home at Victoria, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Florence, two sons, Charles and Billie Lee and his father, Thomas Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Lewis of Ottumwa and sister Mrs. C.R. Brown of Ottumwa also survive.
